Copyedits are charged at a rate of $0.0103 per word.

This works out to approximately $515 for a 50,000 word manuscript and $1030 for a 100,000 word manuscript.

Historical manuscripts requiring extensive research, including etymology and word usage accuracy, fact verification, and checking for anachronisms, require a significant amount of extra time and are charged at a rate of $0.015 per word.

​

Proofreading is charged at a rate of $0.0052 per word.

​

This works out to approximately $260 for a 50,000 word manuscript and $520 for a 100,000 word manuscript.

Payment is due in advance at the time of the contract signing.
