I hold a master's degree in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a PhD in Art History and Communication Studies from McGill University, Montreal.

I also have degrees from UCLA and UC Riverside, and I have both written and edited numerous academic papers and theses. I have an expert knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style, and I have full access to the Oxford English Dictionary and other critical library databases.

Under the pen names Nina Lane, Nina Lindsey, and Nina Rowan, I've written multiple contemporary and historical novels, and I understand the nuances of both grammar and prose. I am meticulous when it comes to writing and editing my own work (and when picking my own editors!), and I apply the same high standards to my editing projects.

I have edited and proofread the work of multiple authors for the following organizations:

Harlequin Enterprises
Carina Press
Samhain Publishing
Open Road Media
Writer's Relief
Edge2Learn
Tigerfish Transcription
